DUNMANWAY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY, COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Dunmanway Agricultural Society (Company Limited by Guarantee) is the charitable organisation behind the celebrated Dunmanway Agricultural Show, held each year on the first Sunday in July at Dromleena Lawn (the racecourse) in Dunmanway. The Society brings together farmers, breeders, artisans and families for a vibrant showcase of Irish country life, offering a full programme of competitive classes for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, poultry, dogs, horticulture and domestic arts.

Beyond the livestock and horticultural displays, the show features a lively side-show programme that includes Macra na Feirme competitions, live music, a dance floor, free children's entertainment, a "best-dressed lady and family" parade and a bonny-baby competition. These events create a festive atmosphere that appeals to both participants and spectators, reinforcing community spirit and promoting rural skills and traditions.

Supported by a range of platinum and associate sponsors, the Society's annual event is a highlight of the summer showing circuit, providing a valuable platform for producers, hobbyists and the wider public to celebrate and share the best of Irish agriculture and craft.
