Touch Foundation Company Limited By Guarantee, operating as TOUCH Ireland, is a charitable organisation dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and young people through education. By running the TOUCH Ireland Education Grant Scheme, the charity provides financial support for higher-secondary studies, third-level courses and a range of skills-training programmes within its project areas, enabling participants to develop locally and later give back to their communities.

The scheme is administered by a committee led by Assistant Director Pauline McHugh and covers everything from agricultural and scientific studies to management, business, environmental training, driving lessons and computer courses. The committee oversees fundraising, sets application criteria, prepares documentation, assesses each request and liaises with educational institutions and corporate partners to secure additional bursaries. All grants are reported to the Central Group, ensuring transparency and impact.

Touch Ireland's approach demonstrates that even modest donations can open doors to education and lifelong skills for children who need it most, fostering brighter futures across the communities it serves.
