MAYO MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Mayo Mental Health Association (MMA) is a County Mayo-based charitable organisation dedicated to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing across the community. Through a range of school-based programmes, public events and an information centre, MMA raises awareness of mental health issues and supports individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges.

The association's work is organised around four pillars: a Schools Education Programme that delivers initiatives such as 'Breathe', 'Fractured' and 'High 5!'; a dedicated Information Centre offering resources and advice; a Housing service aimed at stabilising living conditions; and Health Promotion activities that encourage holistic wellbeing. MMA also produces reports, leaflets and podcasts-including the "Taking Stock" series-to inform and inspire both the public and professionals.

By partnering with local groups and welcoming community donations, the association strives to create a county where mental health is valued as an essential component of personal and national wellbeing. Their vision is a Mayo where every individual feels supported, informed and empowered to thrive.
