Monkstown Bay Marina Company Limited operates Ireland's newest coastal marina, offering all-year-round berthage for vessels up to 17 m. Set on the sheltered western bank of the River Lee in the historic seaside village of Monkstown, the marina blends modern engineering with a long-standing maritime tradition - the area has hosted yacht and rowing clubs since the 1700s. Its outer perimeter of floating concrete breakwaters creates a safe harbour, while fingered berths and a convenient pontoon give easy, secure access for boat owners.

The facility is designed to broaden participation in sailing, providing a user-friendly environment for older people, those with disabilities and less active enthusiasts who might find traditional swing moorings challenging. Annual and long-term lets are available, and the company is also offering investment opportunities through the Business Expansion Scheme. Backed by a grant from South East Area Development (SECAD), Monkstown Bay Marina aims to enhance community access to the sea while supporting the vibrant local walking routes, bars and restaurants that make the area a popular destination.
