NAVAN CHORAL FESTIVAL COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Navan Choral Festival Company Limited By Guarantee is a not-for-profit organisation that runs one of Ireland's flagship music events. Founded in 1979, the Navan Choral and Instrumental Festival brings together school, youth and adult choirs, solo singers and instrumentalists for a ten-day celebration of vocal and instrumental excellence each May.

The 2026 programme runs from 7 - 17 May and includes post-primary choral competitions, a brand-new choral workshop, piano contests, youth choral events (including the National Children's Choir of the Year), adult choral battles, the National Choir of the Year, primary school choral heats, solo-singing finals and instrumental solo and ensemble competitions. In addition to the competitive elements, the festival offers workshops and performance opportunities that nurture talent across the island.

Based in Navan, County Meath, the festival has earned national recognition - a 40th-anniversary visit from President Michael D Higgins in 2019 and the Outstanding Boyne Valley Festival award at the Meath Business and Tourism Awards. It continues to serve schools, choirs, musicians and music lovers throughout Ireland, fostering community spirit and artistic growth.
