Cork University Hospital Charity Company Limited by Guarantee is the nominated charitable arm of Cork University Hospital and Cork University Maternity Hospital. Its core purpose is to raise and allocate funds for life‑saving and life‑changing equipment, services and facilities that directly benefit patients across both hospitals, which together serve a population of more than 1.1 million and offer 40 medical and surgical specialities. As the supporting organisation for Ireland’s first fully digital hospital, the charity plays a pivotal role in enhancing patient care through targeted appeals such as the Children’s ED Appeal, the Neonatal Sanctum Appeal and the Children’s Hospital Appeal.

Beyond equipment provision, CUH Charity fosters a vibrant community of donors, volunteers and corporate partners. Supporters can contribute through donations, wedding favours, in‑memory gifts, fundraising challenges or by volunteering at events, all of which help sustain the hospital’s cutting‑edge services. Rooted in Cork, the charity’s collaborative spirit ensures that patients, families and staff receive the resources they need to thrive.
