Wicklow Cancer Support is a charitable organisation dedicated to offering free emotional and practical assistance to anyone affected by cancer across Wicklow and its neighbouring communities, including Rathnew, Ashford, Glenealy, Brittas Bay, Redcross, Barndarrig, Newtownmountkennedy, Kilcoole and Newcastle. Operated by a network of caring volunteers, the service provides a safe, confidential space where individuals and families can find comfort, share their experiences and receive a friendly “cuppa” in a welcoming hub.

The support on offer is wide‑ranging: volunteers provide reliable home‑to‑hospital transport for appointments, one‑to‑one counselling to help navigate the emotional impact of a diagnosis, and therapeutic massage to ease physical stress. In addition, a comprehensive library of cancer‑related resources is available at no cost, and the organisation runs regular events and workshops to foster community connection.
