Tabor House and Community Initiative Company Limited By Guarantee, trading as Meath Opportunities for Training (MOT), has been supporting the Meath community since 2004. Operating as a Local Training Initiative, MOT delivers a 20-week programme designed for individuals in recovery from addiction, offering modules in drawing, ICDL, painting and personal and interpersonal development. Funded through the Louth and Meath Education and Training Board and European and Irish government resources, the scheme runs a continuous intake throughout the year.

In addition to the training course, MOT runs a Community Employment Scheme in Navan that provides structured daily support, skills development, work placements and direct, person-centred assistance. The initiative collaborates with a range of partners-including the North Eastern Regional Drugs & Alcohol Task Force, the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection and local education providers-to create a holistic support network. Recognised with an Aontas Star Award for best adult education programme in Leinster, MOT continues to place the individual at the heart of its work, helping people rebuild confidence, capability and a sustainable future.
