The Irish Progressive Association for Autism (IPAA) is a registered charity and not-for-profit company based in County Cork. Its core mission is to support autistic children and their families, helping each child reach their full potential while providing parents with practical advice, knowledge and information throughout their journey.

IPAA delivers a range of specialist services, including the Shine Centre's child-focused programmes such as the Flourish teen fitness initiative, a Lego Construction Club that uses Lego®-based therapy for 7-12-year-olds, and the Zen With Jen workshop which introduces yoga, breathing and regulation techniques. In addition, the organisation runs training courses under the Shine Educate banner and offers guidance on state entitlements that families may be eligible for after a diagnosis. Regular fundraising events, such as the Christmas Festive Friends Appeal, help sustain these programmes and brighten the future for autistic children across Ireland.
