BRÚ COLUMBANUS CORK

Brú Columbanus is a charitable organisation that offers a "home from home" service for families of patients receiving treatment in Cork hospitals. By providing free, en-suite accommodation, the charity ensures loved ones can stay close during the most challenging moments, removing the stress of finding suitable lodging.

The service operates across two welcoming properties - the main Brú Columbanus site with 26 en-suite family rooms and the newer Curraheen House, which adds five additional rooms. Each location features fully equipped kitchens and comfortable communal lounges, creating a supportive environment where families can relax, share experiences and find comfort together. The organisation also runs a charity shop in Schull, and relies on donations, sponsorships and fundraising events to sustain its vital work.
