Carriglea Cáirde Services is a dedicated provider of residential, respite and day‑to‑day supports for adults with an intellectual disability or autism. Operating across West Waterford, with its main hub in Dungarvan, the organisation serves roughly 200 individuals and their families, helping them to live as independently and safely as possible.

The service portfolio includes fully staffed residential homes, short‑term respite care, day‑centre activities and a multi‑disciplinary team that delivers personalised therapeutic and advocacy support. With a workforce of about 275 staff from diverse professional backgrounds, Carriglea Cáirde works in partnership with local communities, state agencies and voluntary groups to create inclusive opportunities and to champion the rights of each person to determine their own life goals.

Governed by a voluntary board of directors and operating under a Service Level Arrangement with the Health Service Executive, the organisation is a learning‑oriented, non‑profit company limited by guarantee. Its zero‑tolerance stance on abuse and its vision of quality, safe services underpin every aspect of its work, ensuring that each service user receives the high‑quality, person‑centred support they deserve.
