COTTAGE AUTISM NETWORK WEXFORD COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Cottage Autism Network (CAN) is a voluntary, charitable organisation that has been supporting families of autistic children and teenagers in County Wexford since 2004. Its core mission is to improve quality of life by offering practical support, promoting equality and inclusion, and acting as a community voice for its members.

CAN runs a diverse programme of activities designed to develop communication and social skills while fostering friendships. Regular coffee mornings provide a welcoming space for parents, carers and extended families to connect. Seasonal projects such as the "Teen Sow it to Grow it" allotment scheme, Saturday-morning surfing at Curracloe, and a range of school-holiday camps-including surfing, soccer and gaming days-offer hands-on experiences. A dedicated youth club in Rosslare hosts film nights, arts and crafts, chocolate-making and game evenings, while therapeutic and recreational horse-riding sessions in Duncormick, Davidstown and Enniscorthy support physical, emotional and social development.

By creating inclusive, low-key environments across the county, Cottage Autism Network empowers autistic young people and their families to thrive within their community.
