GASÓGA NA hÉIREANN /SCOUTING IRELAND

Scouting Ireland is one of the island's largest national youth organisations, dedicated to nurturing life-skills and personal development for young people through the unique Scout Method. Since its founding in 1908, the movement has grown to involve more than 26,500 members and 10,000 volunteers, delivering non-formal education that builds confidence, teamwork, leadership and practical abilities such as first aid, budgeting and problem-solving.

The organisation runs a network of Scout Groups and dedicated Scout Centres that host a wide range of activities-from local camps and science days to national assemblies and international events. Safety is a core priority, ensuring that every volunteer and member can enjoy programmes in secure, supportive environments. Through regular events, community projects and the "My Scouts" platform, Scouting Ireland offers young people the chance to make lasting friendships, develop essential skills and explore new experiences across the country.
