CANAL COMMUNITIES REGIONAL ADDICTION SERVICE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Canal Communities Regional Addiction Service (CCRAS) is a regional, not-for-profit organisation that works alongside local agencies to address the causes and consequences of substance misuse in Dublin's Canal Communities - specifically the Bluebell, Inchicore and Rialto areas. By offering a collaborative hub for individuals, families and community groups, CCRAS helps to build a healthier, safer environment for those affected by poly-drug and alcohol use.

The service provides a range of direct supports, including one-to-one counselling, group sessions and out-of-hours programmes. Its remit also covers harm-reduction and health-promotion initiatives, education and prevention work, drug-free support schemes and community-development projects. In addition, CCRAS runs a Service Users' Forum and publishes *Vocaleyez* magazine, giving people a platform to share stories, poems and ideas, and to influence the Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force.

Through these activities, CCRAS serves individuals, families, local drug and alcohol services and the wider community, fostering empowerment, recovery and lasting change across the Canal Communities region.
