Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership (KRSP) is a Local Sports Partnership operating under Sport Ireland, dedicated to making sport and physical activity accessible, inclusive and thriving across County Kilkenny. Its core mission is to boost participation - particularly among young people, older adults, women and girls, and those who benefit from inclusive programmes - while ensuring that local resources are deployed for maximum impact.

KRSP delivers a range of support services for clubs, volunteers and coaches, including grant funding, development schemes and strategic guidance. It runs targeted initiatives such as the "Multisport Fridays" series, youth and women-and-girls programmes, and a suite of volunteer education and coach-development opportunities. The partnership also publishes research, strategic plans and annual reports to inform and inspire the local sport ecosystem.

By acting as the on-the-ground catalyst for community sport, KRSP helps clubs and community groups secure funding, develop inclusive activities and build capacity, ultimately fostering a healthier, more active Kilkenny for everyone.
