Transparency International Ireland is the Irish chapter of the global movement dedicated to combating corruption. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, it works to ensure that power is exercised in the public interest, producing cutting-edge research such as the annual Speak Up Report and the Corruption Perceptions Index. By publishing evidence-based analysis on issues like weak links in corporate structures, the charity equips policymakers, businesses and the wider public with the knowledge needed to prevent illicit financial flows.

Beyond research, Transparency International Ireland offers the only free, specialist Speak Up Helpline in the country, providing confidential advice to victims and witnesses of wrongdoing. Its Transparency Legal Advice Centre (TLAC) delivers independent legal support to whistle-blowers, having assisted dozens of individuals to date. Funded entirely by public donations, the organisation relies on supporters to expand these vital services and to keep Ireland's public life transparent and accountable.
