Bonniconlon Show Company Limited By Guarantee organises the annual Bonniconlon Agricultural Show & Gymkhana, a flagship one-day event held each August Bank Holiday Monday on 200 acres of purpose-built showgrounds in the rural village of Bonniconlon, north Mayo. The show draws roughly 30,000 visitors and offers a prize fund of up to €60,000, making it a highlight of the western Irish calendar. Its programme blends traditional livestock and farm-produce exhibitions with trade stands, jumping competitions and a host of family-friendly activities, all designed to bring together locals, former residents and seasonal workers for a day of community celebration.

The organisation prides itself on accessibility, providing free parking and complimentary bus services from surrounding parks. Supported by a range of partners-including the Irish Shows Association, the Department of Rural & Community Development, the Department of Agriculture, Food & The Marine, Ireland 2040 and LEADER-the Bonniconlon Show delivers a vibrant, inclusive experience that showcases rural life while offering substantial rewards for competitors and exhibitors alike.
