SIGHTSAVERS IRELAND

Sightsavers Ireland is a charitable organisation dedicated to preventing avoidable blindness, combating disease and championing equality for people with disabilities. Working across more than 30 countries in Africa and Asia, the charity trains health workers, delivers life-changing eye operations, and supports women's health initiatives, while also running campaigns that promote the rights and inclusion of disabled people worldwide.

The charity's fundraising model offers a range of ways to get involved - from individual donations and corporate partnerships to legacy gifts in wills - and boasts that 92 % of all contributions go directly to its core programmes. Sightsavers also collaborates closely with Irish Aid, a partnership that has delivered eye-care services and disability support in nations such as Cameroon, Liberia, Senegal and Sierra Leone for over a decade.
