SEACHTAIN NA GAEILGE

Seachtain na Gaeilge, in partnership with Energia, is the flagship international celebration of the Irish language and its rich cultural heritage. Each year the festival brings together learners, speakers and enthusiasts from across Ireland and around the world for a vibrant programme of events, workshops, competitions and community activities that showcase the language in everyday life.

The site serves as a hub for everything the festival offers - from a searchable archive of past events and a shop stocked with Irish-language resources, to a calendar of live sessions, youth competitions and interactive games. Ambassadors and volunteers help to promote the initiative, while podcasts, discussion forums and the #TrasnaNadTonnta social-media campaign keep the conversation flowing year-round. Participants can easily register for events, join the "Lá na gCiorcal" community day or submit entries to the Comórtais Óige, making the festival accessible to families, schools and anyone keen to deepen their connection with Irish.
