National Heat Treatment Centre Limited is Ireland's only dedicated contract heat-treatment provider, offering a full suite of specialised services to help manufacturers enhance the performance and durability of their components. Drawing on almost 25 years of experience, the centre combines advanced vacuum processing, precise case-hardening and a state-of-the-art testing laboratory to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

The vacuum processing capability features the latest temperature-recording and control equipment, with standard vacuum levels of 5 × 10⁻² mBar and optional high-vacuum at 8 × 10⁻⁵ mBar, complemented by nitrogen or argon quenching. In case hardening, the IPSEN sealed-quench furnace provides atmosphere control and carbon-potential monitoring for accurate case depth. Finished batches are verified in the on-site laboratory, which houses calibrated Rockwell C, Rockwell B, Vickers and Micro-Vickers hardness testers, as well as facilities for chemical composition, microstructural analysis and tensile-strength testing.
