A PARTNERSHIP WITH AFRICA

A Partnership with Africa (APA) is a Dublin-based charitable organisation that works in partnership with vulnerable communities in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Ireland. Its core mission is to build civil-society capacity and improve the lives of the most marginalised groups - including orphans, domestic workers, street-children and survivors of gender-based violence - through development education, water and sanitation initiatives and advocacy for basic rights.

APA's flagship "emPoWeRD" project promotes decent work, rights and dignity for domestic workers, collaborating with Irish Aid, CVM and local partners to secure safer, fairer employment conditions. The charity also runs a Street Children Project, supports volunteer-led events and charity shops, and offers opportunities for individuals to become partners or volunteers. By combining grassroots action with strategic planning, APA delivers tangible improvements in health, education and economic empowerment for the communities it serves.
