Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition Company Limited by Guarantee runs Ireland's premier annual science competition for secondary-school students. Founded in 1965, the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition provides a national platform for young people to present original research projects, with thousands of proposals submitted each year and around 500 projects selected for a four-day showcase in Dublin. Participants display their work to expert judging panels and the public, culminating in an awards ceremony that crowns the Stripe Young Scientist & Technologist of the Year.

The exhibition not only celebrates scientific curiosity but also offers a springboard for future innovators. Alumni have gone on to represent Ireland at the EU Contest for Young Scientists, launch successful tech start-ups, and influence global STEM initiatives. By fostering rigorous inquiry and public engagement, the organisation helps shape the next generation of researchers, entrepreneurs and thought-leaders across the country.
