BELONG TO YOUTH SERVICES

Belong To Youth Services is a national charity dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ young people throughout Ireland. By offering a safe, welcoming space-both online and in person-the organisation helps youth feel accepted, heard and empowered. Their core provision includes an informal one-to-one chat service, professional counselling, and specialised drug- and-alcohol support, all designed to meet the diverse needs of LGBTQ+ individuals.

In addition to direct support, Belong To runs vibrant youth groups where young people can meet peers, share experiences and build lasting friendships. Families also benefit from a dedicated Family Support Service, providing one-to-one guidance and educational resources to help parents, guardians and foster carers understand and support their LGBTQ+ children. For professionals, the charity delivers training and the LGBTQ+ Quality Mark for schools, equipping educators and service providers with the skills and accreditation needed to create inclusive environments.
