BALLYFERMOT ADVANCE PROJECT COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Ballyfermot Advance Project is a Dublin-based charitable organisation that has been supporting people affected by problem drug and alcohol use since 2003. Re-launched in 2017 after a strategic review, the service adopts a low-threshold, person-centred approach, offering confidential, free-of-charge assistance to individuals and families across the Dublin 10 and Dublin 12 catchment areas. All interventions are evidence-based and tailored to each client's needs, whether delivered one-to-one or in group settings.

The project delivers a wide range of specialised services, including the CHRIS (Cocaine Harm Reduction and Intervention Service) Project, a Needle and Syringe Programme, and auricular acupuncture for harm reduction. Additional supports comprise Key Working and Care Planning appointments, confidential counselling, a Family Support Service, and proactive outreach to reach those who may not feel comfortable visiting the centre. Free amenities such as food and telephone access are also available. The team's core values-confidentiality, respect, support, transparency and empowerment-ensure a safe, inclusive environment where clients can pursue lasting change.
