Noel Meade Horse Trainer Limited is a veteran training operation that has been shaping champions since 1970. Beginning with a single horse, Tu Va, purchased at Goffs for a modest 100 gns, Noel built a career that now boasts close to 3 000 winners, seven Champion National Hunt Trainer titles and ten Leading Trainer awards.

The yard specialises in preparing both National Hunt and flat racehorses, having shifted its focus to jumpers in the early 1990s while recently re-introducing a strong flat programme. Over the decades Noel has guided a host of notable runners - from Harchibald and Go Native to Sweet Mint, Steel Duke and Apache Stronghold - securing victories in virtually every major Irish National Hunt race.

Supporting the training team, Derville Meade manages the yard's social-media presence, providing owners with regular video and photo updates from the stables and the track.
