AN CLAR AS GAEILGE CUIDEACHTA FAOI THEORAINN RÁTHAÍOCHTA

An Clár as Gaeilge is a community-driven partnership project dedicated to the development and promotion of the Irish language throughout County Clare. Funded by Foras na Gaeilge under the Community Scheme, the initiative brings together representatives from a wide range of local groups to create practical opportunities for people of all ages to speak, learn and celebrate Gaeilge.

The programme delivers a varied portfolio of activities, including the annual Féile na Inse, a drama festival, a Christmas-card competition for pre-school children, and a "Hotline Obair Bhaile" that offers simple, practical support for parents teaching Irish at home. It also works closely with state bodies, churches and cultural organisations to strengthen the visibility of Irish in the county and to foster cultural tourism.

Through these events and partnerships, An Clár as Gaeilge nurtures a love of the language, encourages community participation and builds lasting infrastructure for Irish-language development across the region.
