The Wicklow County Childcare Committee (WCCC) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting quality early learning, care and school-age childcare throughout County Wicklow. By acting as a central hub for parents, practitioners and childminders, WCCC helps families navigate the early years landscape and assists providers in delivering safe, inclusive and high-standard services.

WCCC offers a wide range of resources and guidance, including advice on choosing childcare, child-minding, child safeguarding, qualifications and setting up a service. It also provides specialised support through the Access & Inclusion Model (AIM) for children with disabilities, information on the National Childcare Scheme, and links to the First 5 whole-of-government strategy. Practitioners can access practice guides, AISTEAR/Síolta tools and regular news bulletins that keep the sector up-to-date with funding, policy developments and best-practice initiatives.
