GLÓR NA NGAEL

Glór na nGael is a national language-development organisation dedicated to the promotion and growth of Irish in families, community groups, schools and businesses. Through a wide range of grant schemes, competitions and community-development programmes, the charity helps clubs, pupils, entrepreneurs and local groups secure funding, celebrate achievements and create vibrant Irish-speaking environments. Its flagship initiatives include the annual Blitzchomórtais for schools, the GRADAIM awards recognising business excellence, and a series of family-room events at Oireachtas na Samhna.

The organisation offers targeted support for CLG clubs, school-age learners, families and enterprises, providing resources such as online shop items, social-media outreach via Instagram and bespoke development advice from its team, including Development Officer Seán Ó Cuirrín. By partnering with the Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha and other foundations, Glór na nGael delivers funding opportunities and recognises outstanding contributions across the island, fostering a thriving Irish-language community from Dublin to the farthest counties.
