SUAS EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Suas Educational Development, trading as STAND, is a Dublin-based charitable organisation that empowers third-level students to become agents of global justice, equality and sustainability. By embedding critical Global Citizenship Education across Ireland's higher-education sector, STAND equips young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to tackle pressing international challenges.

The charity delivers a suite of student-focused programmes, including the STAND Global Issues Courses, a student-led journalism platform (STAND News), and the annual Global Solidarity Festival. It also offers opportunities to volunteer as Global Issues Course Coordinators, participates in incubator showcases, and runs an active alumni network for former participants. Through these initiatives, STAND creates a vibrant community where learners can research, write and campaign on the issues that matter most to them.
