Tinahely Community Play Group Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-run childcare and early-years education centre serving families in Tinahely, County Wicklow. Catering for children from 12 months up to 12 years, the playgroup provides a high standard of care and learning delivered by a team of qualified, dedicated teachers. Its inclusive ethos ensures every child is valued, encouraged and respected regardless of gender, race, disability or religion.

The centre offers a range of full-day and part-time programmes, including a crèche, five preschool rooms and an after-school room. Class sizes range from eight to twenty children and cover specific age bands - from the Wobbler Room for 12-18-month-olds, through Mini Toddler, Toddler and Montessori rooms for children up to four years, to an after-school setting for children up to 12 years. Additional supports such as free Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) and the Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) make the service affordable, while a focus on nutrition and an outdoor facility enrich the daily experience.

Tinahely Playgroup's aim is to provide a stimulating, nurturing environment that bridges the gap between home and primary school, helping children develop confidence, social skills and a love of learning through play.
