One in Four is Ireland's pioneering charity dedicated to ending the trauma of child sexual abuse. For more than two decades the organisation has worked tirelessly to break the silence, destigmatise shame and provide survivors with the expert, wrap-around support they need to rebuild their lives.

The charity offers a comprehensive suite of specialist services. Its advocacy team guides survivors through the criminal-justice process, providing compassionate court accompaniment and support during Garda interviews. Highly qualified therapists deliver individual and group counselling, while a dedicated family-support service helps relatives come to terms with abuse within the family. One in Four also runs a client-centred prevention programme for individuals who have caused harm, and conducts vital research into public attitudes and the survivor experience.

Based in Dublin and serving clients across the Republic, One in Four's impact is measurable: in 2024 it supported 1,292 survivors, delivered 2,213 psychotherapy sessions and assisted 1,039 people through advocacy. The charity's evidence-based approach continues to drive positive outcomes for thousands of men and women throughout Ireland.
