The Creative Learning Centre Company Limited By Guarantee, trading as Blue Box, is a Limerick-based charity that delivers play-based and creative arts therapies to children and young people who have experienced trauma, bereavement, loss or who present with emotional, behavioural or psychological difficulties. Working closely with schools, families and self-referring parents, Blue Box prioritises the most socially and economically disadvantaged youngsters, providing a safe, trauma-informed environment where creativity can foster resilience and well-being.

In 2024 the centre delivered 2,480 therapeutic sessions, supporting 131 children in need and extending its services to 11 schools across the region. Its specialist programmes combine research-backed play therapy with a range of artistic modalities, placing the child and family at the heart of the process. By offering professional, innovative interventions, Blue Box helps young people unlock their full potential and thrive despite the challenges they face.
