BRAY TRAVELLERS' COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Bray Travellers' Community Development Group (BTCDG) is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1997 that brings together Travellers and settled residents across the Bray Municipal District. Its core mission is to confront discrimination and prejudice, giving Travellers a strong, collective voice in matters that affect their daily lives and wider society.

The group runs a comprehensive community development programme that acts as a catalyst for positive change. Services span health, accommodation, education, youth and children's support, as well as employment and enterprise initiatives. Dedicated staff-including a manager, administrator, addiction project manager, family support worker and education worker-deliver targeted projects such as addiction support, family assistance and educational outreach, all aimed at promoting Traveller culture and improving wellbeing.

By fostering collaboration and championing research and policy development, BTCDG works to create a more inclusive community where Traveller heritage is celebrated and opportunities are accessible to all.
