CUMANN NA DAOINE AONTAITHE CUIDEACHTA FAOI THEORAINN RÁTHAÍOCHTA

Cumann na Daoine Aontaithe Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta is a community-based organisation in Youghal, Co. Cork, dedicated to empowerment, inclusion and social awareness. It delivers a range of programmes that build confidence, enhance skills and foster mutual support, operating under the principles of equality, participation and collaboration.

Key initiatives include the LGBT+ Development project "Seeding the County Cork", which creates safe networking spaces for LGBTQIA+ people and their allies, and the CnD Community Café - a non-profit venue offering quality, affordable food alongside a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. The organisation also runs free employment-support workshops in partnership with SECAD, and a variety of personal-development courses such as Sugar Flowers and a dedicated Personal Development programme. In addition, Cumann na Daoine promotes local employment opportunities, for example through vacancies for community health workers with NICHE.

Through these activities Cumann na Daoine aims to break down barriers, give people a voice and provide a safe, accessible environment where individuals can explore and value their own power.
