Leitrim County Childcare Committee CLG is a community-driven organisation dedicated to supporting families and early-years providers throughout County Leitrim. By offering a single, easy-to-navigate hub, the Committee helps parents access the National Childcare Scheme, the Access and Inclusion Model and a range of directories for childcare providers, childminders and parent-toddler services.

For childcare providers the service portfolio includes guidance on Universal Childcare, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), the Childcare Service Provider (CCSP) programme, Tusla registration, Pobal compliance and the AIM Better Start framework. Providers can also find information on qualifications, quality training, and child-protection and welfare requirements.

Childminders benefit from dedicated resources covering Tusla regulations, Garda vetting, funding and grant opportunities, as well as the same child-protection and welfare support offered to larger providers. In addition, the Committee runs a Parent-Toddler Start-Up Guidance hub and a searchable directory to connect families with suitable early-years options. Through these services, Leitrim County Childcare Committee empowers families to make informed childcare choices and assists providers in delivering safe, high-quality care across the county.
