CORK CITY CHILDCARE

Cork City Childcare is the dedicated County/City Childcare Committee for Cork, acting as the first point of contact for parents, child-minders and early-years providers seeking information and support. As a central hub for the city's early years ecosystem, the organisation works to expand both the quantity and quality of affordable childcare, enabling families to work, study or pursue other opportunities.

The committee offers a comprehensive suite of services, including guidance on the Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) free-pre-school programme, access to the National Childcare Scheme, and specialist support through the Access & Inclusion Model (AIM) for children with additional needs. It also promotes professional development via the LINC inclusion programme, Tusla's Quality and Regulatory Framework e-learning, and a range of free CPD resources for early-years practitioners.
