MUIRIOSA FOUNDATION

Muiríosa Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities to lead self-directed, connected and fulfilling lives. With a team of more than 1,500 professionals, Muiríosa delivers person-centred disability and autism support services across eight counties in the midlands and south-east - Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Kildare, Tipperary and Kilkenny - operating from its headquarters in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

The foundation's services are organised into three regional hubs, each overseen by a Regional Director, allowing tailored support that meets the unique needs of each service user. As a trusted partner of the Health Service Executive, Muiríosa works under an annual service-level agreement to ensure transparency, accountability and high-quality care that aligns with national policy. Core offerings include community-based support, home-sharing programmes, community employment initiatives and opportunities for volunteers and fundraisers to get involved.
