Safe Home Ireland is a national charity, established in 2000, that provides person-centred support to Irish-born emigrants and returnees. With a global remit, the organisation ensures that anyone thinking of moving to, or recently returned to, Ireland can access the information and practical help they need, exactly when they need it.

The charity's work is built around five core pillars. Its Information service offers comprehensive guidance on all aspects of relocation and repatriation. Through Housing, Safe Home assists qualifying emigrants in securing safe, affordable homes across the country. Outreach delivers home-visits abroad-primarily in the UK-and on-the-ground support for returnees in Ireland. The Connect team acts as a liaison between the diaspora, Irish agencies and support networks, while Projects develop campaigns and initiatives that address emerging issues for the Irish community worldwide.

Supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Emigrant Support Programme and benefitted by corporate sponsorship, Safe Home Ireland operates nationally, helping families and individuals rebuild their lives and reconnect with home.
