Sligo County Childcare Committee CLG is a not-for-profit organisation that has been championing early years provision in County Sligo since 2001. Acting as the local agent for a range of projects and programmes funded by the Department of Children & Youth Affairs, the Committee works directly with families, communities and early-years practitioners to develop high-quality, affordable and accessible childcare and early education services throughout the county.

The Committee's core activities centre on delivering the national "Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures" framework, supporting early-years practitioners with guidance, training and resources, and helping parents navigate the options available for their children. By fostering partnership-based approaches, it aims to nurture the holistic development of every child, from infancy through the early primary years.
