Africa Solidarity Centre Company Limited By Guarantee is a national non-governmental and voluntary organisation headquartered in Dublin. Its core purpose is to foster the meaningful inclusion of African people in every facet of Irish life - social, political and economic - by creating spaces for dialogue, education and collaborative action. The Centre works with African diaspora organisations and individuals on development projects in African countries, while simultaneously influencing policy and promoting African perspectives within Ireland's development-education discourse.

Through a suite of specialised programmes the Centre delivers tangible support: a Civic Participation project that equips ethnic-minority groups for political engagement; a Campaign & Advocacy strand that highlights Africa's contributions and links African and Irish issues; an Africa Programme operating from a West-African office in Gambia that offers mentorship for diaspora experts; an Intercultural Youth Society that brings young people of diverse backgrounds together; and a robust policy and resources service that produces civic-education materials and submits informed recommendations to government bodies. Guided by the values of respect, equality and the spirit of Ubuntu, the Africa Solidarity Centre is a vital hub for community participation and intercultural understanding across Ireland.
