SHEELIN NURSING HOME LIMITED

Sheelin Nursing Home Limited is a family-run residential care provider that offers a warm, homely environment for older adults. Based in the scenic village of Mountnugent on the shores of Lough Sheelin, the home can accommodate up to 38 residents-both male and female-generally aged 65 years and over.

The home delivers a comprehensive, resident-centred service staffed by two qualified nurses and five carers on each day shift, and one nurse with two carers on night shift, with the Director of Care (RGN) on site Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. This staffing model enables Sheelin Nursing Home to support a range of needs, including chronic care, brain-injury rehabilitation, mild confusion (non-dementia) and short-term respite.
