LAOIS SPORTS PARTNERSHIP COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Laois Sports Partnership is a County Laois-wide, not-for-profit partnership dedicated to making sport, physical activity and recreation accessible to everyone. Established in 2002 as an inter-agency collaboration between Laois County Council and Sport Ireland, the partnership provides strategic oversight and operational support for clubs, community groups and individuals who want to lead healthier, more active lives.

The organisation offers a suite of services that include club registration, event bookings and a calendar of inclusive programmes such as Women's Active, Young People Fit, Older Adults Move and Sports4All. It also runs specialist initiatives on disability inclusion, safeguarding workshops, club-children officer training and walking-leader development. By bringing together a diverse Board of Management and a network of local partners, Laois Sports Partnership creates sustainable pathways for participation, fosters community cohesion and champions the mental, social and physical benefits of sport across the county.
