ETHIOPIAID

Ethiopiaid is an Irish-based charitable organisation that raises funds for trusted local partners in Ethiopia, delivering support where it is needed most and at a time that makes a real difference. By matching donations up to €20,000, the charity amplifies the impact of every contribution, helping to transform the lives of over 34,000 people in 2024 alone.

Working with Ethiopian charities for more than 25 years, Ethiopiaid focuses on four key areas: living with disabilities, education, women and girls, and maternal health. Its current portfolio includes five projects, with more than 80 % of the adult beneficiaries being women, reflecting a strong commitment to gender-focused development.

Through its simple, community-led approach, Ethiopiaid breaks the cycle of poverty, enabling the poorest and most vulnerable to live with dignity, build resilience and achieve sustainable solutions.
