Athenry Arts & Heritage Company Limited by Guarantee runs the award-winning Athenry Heritage Centre, a hands-on museum and visitor hub that brings the medieval history of Athenry to life. Based in the historic town of Athenry, County Galway, the centre offers fully accessible guided tours, self-guiding booklets and audio wands, allowing individuals and groups to explore original artefacts such as the 14th-century mace and seal, armour, weaponry and a recreated medieval market square.

The flagship "Medieval Experience" lets participants dress in period costume, try archery, navigate a medieval maze and test historic skills under expert guidance. Tailored programmes are available for families, school groups and larger parties, with specialised school and student tours that accommodate up to 50 people. In addition, the centre provides architectural walking tours-both guided and self-guided with audio narration-highlighting Athenry's Norman castle, Dominican priory, St Mary's parish church and the town's original market cross.
