SHEEP'S HEAD WAY COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Sheep's Head Way Company Limited by Guarantee is a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation that looks after the award-winning Sheep's Head Way - a long-distance, way-marked walking trail winding through the dramatic peninsula of West Cork. The core route stretches 146 km, and the network is expanded by an additional 37 km of loop and linear walks, totalling more than 300 km of scenic paths that link villages, beaches and mountain passes.

Based in Kilcrohane village, Bantry, Co. Cork, the company brings together landowners, farmers and other community representatives to maintain the trail, produce interactive maps and promote the rich heritage and history of the area. Visitors can explore detailed digital maps of the main route and its western and eastern sections, purchase a handy folding map, or pick up a commemorative unisex jersey tee from the on-line shop.
