COBH (GREAT ISLAND) COMMUNITY CENTRE

Cobh (Great Island) Community Centre is a vibrant community hub serving residents and visitors of Cobh, County Cork. Open seven days a week, the centre offers a welcoming space for a diverse range of activities, from sports and dance to clubs, societies and special interest groups. It is home to anchor tenants such as the Cope Foundation, Great Island Projects and the Irish Girl Guides, and also facilitates Cobh Active Retired (SWELS), providing programmes that cater for all ages.

The centre houses Lorraines Montessori School, welcoming the next generation of learners, and supports more than ten sporting and dance groups alongside a wide variety of clubs and societies. With dedicated staff and volunteers, the facility delivers regular news, events and activities that enrich community life, ensuring there is something for everyone under one roof.
