The Institute for the Development of Employee Advancement Services (IDEAS) is a Dublin-based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving workplace learning, health and safety, and employee participation across Ireland and the wider EU. Its core mission is to identify and introduce innovative thinking and new services that benefit both staff and the enterprises they work for.

IDEAS offers a suite of accredited training programmes, most notably the SOLAS Safe Pass course - a one-day health-and-safety awareness programme that equips construction workers with the knowledge and certification required for site access. Additional specialisations include information-technology training, "Train-the-Trainer" workshops, and team-working development. The institute also undertakes research-driven projects such as the European scaffolding sector improvement initiative, the DIRECT II study of direct employee participation, and apprenticeship schemes for NEETs, all aimed at shaping policy and best practice at a European level.
