COMHAIRLE PHAROISTE GHLEANN CHOLM CILLE CUIDEACHTA FAOI THEORAINN RÁTHAÍOCHTA

Lár Chomhairle Paróiste Ghleann Cholm Cille (LCPG) is a charitable company limited by guarantee that acts as the umbrella community‑development organisation for the parish of Glencolmcille in County Donegal. Elected every four years, the current ten‑member board represents the five townlands of Na Málainne, Na Mínte, Teileann, An Caiseal and An Charraig, ensuring that the social, cultural, economic and educational needs of the whole parish are championed.

The group delivers a diverse portfolio of projects through its sub‑committees, ranging from a Public Defibrillator Service – maintaining seven defibrillators and providing monthly checks – to the Glencolmcille Community Garden with regular gardening classes. Other flagship programmes include the “Togra na Spéartha” initiative, the Glencolmcille First Responders team, a summer camp, and a series of children’s storytelling mornings, workshops and craft events. Day‑to‑day coordination is overseen by Development Officer Donna Ní Ghallchobhair and Language‑Planning Officer Niall Ó Ceallaigh.
