Company Description
Charities Institute Ireland (CII) exists to support and enable charities across the island to create positive social change. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, CII offers a comprehensive membership programme that brings together charities, Triple-Lock members and suppliers, providing a trusted network for collaboration, best-practice guidance and advocacy.
Through its CII Academy, the institute delivers professional education ranging from a Certificate in Fundraising and a Certificate in Charities SORP to short courses and the Diploma in Fundraising Management, helping charity staff and trustees build the skills required for effective governance, finance and fundraising. CII also curates a rich calendar of events-including regional finance and fundraising networks, CEO roundtables, digital and corporate forums, and the Charity Excellence Awards-offering peer-learning and visibility for members. In addition, it publishes research, the Charity Leader magazine and regular news updates, and maintains standards such as the Triple-Lock, Governance Code and Fundraising Codes.
Based in Dublin, Charities Institute Ireland serves charities of all sizes throughout Ireland, acting as a central hub for resources, standards and professional development that empower the third sector to thrive.
