Bere Island Old School Heritage Complex Company Limited By Guarantee is the charitable body that stewards the island's rich cultural and natural legacy. Based on Bere Island in West Cork, the organisation runs the Bere Island Heritage & Information Centre - home to the interactive "Bere Island Experience" exhibition - and oversees the Community Archive, which records the island's history, people and places as part of the Irish Community Archive Network.

The company's core activities centre on heritage preservation, education and community development. It organises guided heritage tours, supports the island's Conservation Plan, and coordinates a range of local groups such as the Projects Group, Active Retirement Club, Men's Shed and After-School Club.
